Interview on greening cities
Interview Deborah Lambert in AD newspaper
Interview with Deborah Lambert and Ben Kuipers, respectively board member and president of the Dutch Society for Garden and Landscape Architecture (NVTL). In their response to an earlier article about reducing public green space in the center of The Hague, the two question whether that is smart. "But above all, is it necessary?"
An idea for a green city. From: Blankenburg Süden, Berlin project i.c.w. Cityförster
"Sacrificing existing green space is not an option, according to Lambert, and there is no need to cut back on new green space either. But the way we look at green space has to change. It does not all have to be next to each other. We need to think more three-dimensionally. Green can be next to, but also on, or in newly developed buildings."
