Jonas wins Zuiderkerkprijs 2023

We are happy to announce that Jonas has won the Zuiderkerkprijs 2023. The Zuiderkerkprijs, organized by the Municipality of Amsterdam, focuses on the quality of housing construction. The prize is presented to the architect and client of the best project. The jury states: "Jonas is a residential building where everything comes together: elegant architecture, beautiful outdoor spaces, a beautiful interior, many collective facilities and nice homes.

Design by Orange Architects, commissioned by Amvest in collaboration with ABT and Felixx. Built by Ballast Nedam West. Images by Sebastian van Damme. Congratulations to the team.

											We are incredibly thrilled to share that our Jonas project in Amsterdam has been recognized on the global stage! Out of over 250 entries from more than 40 countries for the prestigious WLA Award, we are thrilled to be among the finalists in the Built Commercial Residential Landscape Design category!

Jonas is an award-winning building that demonstrates the vital need for developments where sustainability and collective living thrive in high urban density. Designed to foster social cohesion, Jonas offers a sustainable and welcoming heart for both residents and the entire neighborhood. Felixx proudly designed the collective landscape within and around the complex.

The winners will be announced on June 11th, so keep your fingers crossed for us!

Jonas is designed by Orange Architects and Felixx landscape, with the interiors by Pubblik & Vos commissioned by Amvest and developed in collaboration with ABT bv, SmitsRinsma built by Ballast Nedam West, Rots Maatwerk and Van der Tol bv.
