Food Innovation Strip
Ede-Wageningen
Last year we started with the project Food Innovation Strip Ede-Wageningen, a design guideline for an 11km long strip. The axis can be read as a ‘linear arboretum’. Bio-based tree pots with area-specific trees are placed in short strips along the route, making it one of the characteristics of the strip. The shape of the pot is based on an Erlenmeyer flask – the conical test tube that is present in every laboratory. This references the research and innovation character of the companies and knowledge institutions in the area. The 3D printing of the tree pots will start next week.
