Construction has started at Tuinen van West, Amsterdam

Amsterdam

Construction of a new hotel and wellness resort has started at Tuinen van West, Amsterdam. Felixx created a lush natural environment. Centered around a new recreational lake with sauna facilities, the design features an entrance area with hotel, a lodge forest with 19 individual tiny houses around a community building, a wellness forest with elevated yoga field and amphitheatre, an event field, playing area and a vegetable garden. The perfect getaway from the busy city life!

Out of over 250 entries from more than 40 countries for the prestigious WLA Award, we are thrilled to be among the finalists in the Built Commercial Residential Landscape Design category!

Jonas is an award-winning building that demonstrates the vital need for developments where sustainability and collective living thrive in high urban density. Designed to foster social cohesion, Jonas offers a sustainable and welcoming heart for both residents and the entire neighborhood. Felixx proudly designed the collective landscape within and around the complex.

The winners will be announced on June 11th, so keep your fingers crossed for us!

Jonas is designed by Orange Architects and Felixx landscape, with the interiors by Pubblik & Vos commissioned by Amvest and developed in collaboration with ABT bv, SmitsRinsma built by Ballast Nedam West, Rots Maatwerk and Van der Tol bv.
