Stockholm World Water Week

On the 25th of August, at the World Water Week in Stockholm, Felixx will host a workshop focusing on water resilient cities through Nature – Based Solutions (NBS) with Water as Leverage Cartagena as a case study. We will let participants experience the importance of an integrated desing team, to bridge the gap between governance and investors. How can Nature-Based Solutions enhance resilience through innovative strategies? Explore this and many more questions during the workshop on 25th August.
Role rolling: multiplayer strategies for water management
The workshop centers around role-playing to cultivate innovative strategies for water management, encouraging participants to assume different roles, gaining insights into the significant role of designers. The aim is to enhance the understanding of the complexities, challenges, and opportunities in water management design and policies, encouraging informed dialogue and integrated, effective solutions. Participants range from government officials, financial specialists, designers, private sector representatives, investors, NGOs that work together to integrate design, funding and practical. This approach underscores the crucial role of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in fostering sustainable and resilient water resource management. It also emphasizes the necessity for targeted implementation strategies.
After the ‘Role-Playing Game’ final presentations will be held, showcasing how integrated design can effectively address real-world challenges through multifaceted approaches, combining diverse perspectives to create sustainable and effective solutions.

World Water Week, organized annually by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), is the premier global event addressing water issues. It gathers experts, practitioners, decision-makers, business innovators, and young professionals from various sectors and countries to devise solutions for the world's most pressing water-related challenges.
With over 15,000 registered participants from 193 countries and territories, including 52% women and 42% youth aged 35 and younger, Stockholm World Water Week 2024 serves as a diverse and dynamic platform for fostering a fair, inclusive, and sustainable future for all.
This year's overarching theme, "Bridging Borders: Water for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future," emphasizes the interconnectedness of communities and the collective efforts necessary for global sustainability and peace.
