Living Between Water and Land

Felixx is looking forward be among the speakers at the Living Between Water and Land International Conference. A conference organized and supported by the Department of Architecture of the University of Bologna. About Living Between Water and Land The floods in 2023 and 2024 in Cesena highlighted the fragility of the area but also the central role of water, both as a source of risk and as a vital resource for the landscape. The Department of Architecture of Cesena has long addressed these issues, comparing these local challenges and potential with national and international experiences. The conference and walks, with contributions from experts and designers, will engage citizens and local stakeholders in a shared reflection on the future of the Savio River and the territories it flows through. Building with Nature for Integrated Resilience We will be sharing how our projects implement Nature-Based Solutions for water risk management and environmental impact mitigation. Demonstrating how landscapes are designed to support communities and ecosystems in vulnerable contexts, but also how using these innovative approaches can foster symbiosis between the built environment and natural processes.
