Visit to Edible Neighborhood
Felixx office visit to our Rijnvliet public space project. Starting at the treetop path above the central food forest we had a tour through this entire edible neighborhood.
Rijvliet Edible Neighborhood
The central part of Rijnvliet combines all necessary seven layers for a sustainable food forest. For the public space in adjoining areas the design focuses on a set of layers for each part, creating four distinct areas. The (edible) Fruit-, Leaf-, Nut- and Flower-neighborhoods.

We develop Rijnvliet Edible Neighborhood together with AE | Food Forestry, Anouk Vogel (canopy walk) and De Zwarte Hond. The public space is planted and maintained by the craftsmen of contractor Van Wijk Nieuwegein. For client Utrecht Municipality.
