Experienced Landscape Designer

Felixx is an international, award-winning landscape architecture firm dedicated to building a sustainable world. Founded in 2014, the firm has grown into an enthusiastic team of 40 designers, researchers, and engineers. To continue growing, deepen our knowledge, and broaden our field of work, we are looking for an experienced landscape designer with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.

About the role
As an experienced landscape designer at Felixx, you will be involved in design phases ranging from developing masterplans to public space design plans, meaning your work will quickly translate into real-world projects. These tasks are performed in close collaboration with a design team and experienced project leaders. We value our informal working environment and expect everyone to contribute their expertise and experience to the projects we work on.

 

Your profile

  • graduated as a landscape designer (Van Hall Larenstein or equivalent);
  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a landscape designer;
  • an open, enthusiastic, and inquisitive work attitude;
  • affinity for multidisciplinary collaboration within an international team;
  • experience in the elaboration and detailing of public space designs across the Schematic Design, Preliminary Design, and Definitive Design phases;
  • experience in supervising colleagues is an advantage;
  • proficiency in Vectorworks and Adobe Suite;
  • knowledge of 3D software is an advantage;
  • proficiency in GIS and digital twins;
  • strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written;
  • available for at least 32 hours per week;
  • preferably residing in the Rotterdam area.
