Michiel Van Driessche Partner Michiel is a landscape architect and founding partner of Felixx Landscape Architects & Planners. Michiel graduated cum laude as landscape architect in 2007 at the University College in Ghent and obtained the Master of Arts in Landscape Architecture at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture in 2012. He has a strong focus on environmental challenges and specializes in strategic planning. His strength as a designer lies in spatial research and large scale planning projects, as well as in complex public space projects. Michiel is mainly in charge of the international portfolio of Felixx.

Deborah Lambert Partner Deborah is a public space designer and founding partner of Felixx Landscape Architects & Planners. Deborah studied garden and landscape architecture at the Erasmus Hogeschool in Brussels and landscape architecture at the Leeds Metropolitan University in England, after which she obtained a Master of Arts in Urban Interior Design at the School of Fine Arts in Utrecht. In her designs she focuses on the social challenges and agendas and she has a strong believe in local craftsmanship. Since 2020 Deborah is a board member of the NVTL (Dutch Association for Garden and Landscape Architecture). Within the office, Deborah is the managing partner.

Marnix Vink Partner Marnix is an experienced landscape designer and founding partner of Felixx Landscape Architects & Planners. Marnix graduated with honours from the Van Hall Larenstein, University of Applied Sciences in Velp, where he studied garden and landscape architecture. He has a pragmatic and process oriented attitude, resulting in strong designs that combine his interest in craftsmanship with conceptual design statements. At the office, Marnix is mainly responsible for a diverse range of public space projects in The Netherlands.

Bahar Yilmaz PR & Communications Bahar works in the PR/BD team and is responsible for both internal and external communication while actively promoting Felixx's projects. She graduated from City, University of London with a Master's degree in Journalism. Prior to joining Felixx, she worked at Foam Fotografiemuseum in Amsterdam as a Press & PR officer.

Cherk Ga Leung Architect, Researcher Cherk Ga Leung is an architect and graduated from the Delft University of Technology with a Master’s degree in Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences. She obtained her bachelor’s degree at the University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining Felixx as an architect, she has gained experience in David Chipperfield Architects and Trace Architecture Office.

Eduardo Marin Salinas Associate partner, Project leader, researcher Eduardo is a project leader, researcher and biologist, specializing in climate adaption strategies. At Felixx, he leads the research department. At the University of Santiago de Compostela he got his bachelor in Water Biology, Botany and Ecology and got his Master Degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Barcelona. Before he joined Felixx, Eduardo gained a lot of experience at De Urbanisten as senior landscape architect and research leader.

Elan Redekop van der Meulen Associate partner, Landscape Architect, Researcher Elan is a landscape architect and graduated from the Technical University in Delft with a bachelor in Architecture, Urbanism and the Built Environment and a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Before he joined us, he got his experience at wUrck architecture, urbanism and landscape architecture.

Elsa Lopez Sanz Architect, Urbanist Elsa is an architect and urbanist. She graduated with honours with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Alcalá, where she also worked as an assistant researcher. After gaining experience in both fields in Madrid, Elsa joins Felixx as a landscape designer, committed to improving the (un)built environment through creative, sustainable, and people-centred design.

Esther Kraaijeveld Office Manager Esther is managing our office from day to day and makes sure the office runs smoothly. She also helps with the organization and the administrative and financial functioning of Felixx. With her degree in Economics, she gained before Felixx extensive work experience as she was for 12 years office manager at BGSV in Rotterdam. At Felixx, Esther is the one to greet you by the door or answering the phone.

John de Groot Associate partner, Project Leader, Urban Planner, Landscape Designer John is a project leader, working on the fringe of urban planning and landscape design. He graduated from the Rotterdam Academy for Architecture with a Master in Urbanism, after completing his Bachelor of Arts at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. John gained his experience at various urban design offices, such as Palmbout Urban Landscapes in Rotterdam and Juurlink + Geluk Amsterdam.

Joost van Beek Program maker Joost works as Program Maker at Felixx. He joined to support the team as they celebrate their ten-year anniversary. With a background in (eco)philosophy, marketing and communications, and economics, he looks deeply into the challenges of today. In recent years, Joost's expertise in communications has led him to work within the fields of biodiversity, nature and agriculture.

Kiana Nikoosiar Jahromi Landscape Designer After graduating from Urban Design bachelor in Iran and Sustainable Landscape Design from Politecnico di Milano, she experienced work environments in both fields of urban design at BasicCity based in Rotterdam and landscape design at Flux in Utrecht. She perceives the landscape as an integral component of a pleasant and livable environment, particularly within cities, where careful design is necessary to foster the coexistence of all living creatures.

Luiz Felipe do Nascimento Architect, urbanist Luiz is an architect and urbanist, working at Felixx Research Team. He obtained his Bachelors in the University of São Paulo and spent a year in Lisbon as an exchange student. He then gained experience working as a architect on projects in France and several locations in Brazil. Luiz moved to the Netherlands to pursue a Master degree at the TU Delft, where he also worked as a guest researcher.

Klaudio Ruci Architect, urban designer Klaudio is an architect and urban designer. He got his master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design at the Polis University in Albania. Before he joined Felixx, he obtained his experience as an architect at MetroPOLIS and as specialist architect at the Ministry of Urban Development.

Man Du Landscape designer Man is a landscape designer who gained her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at Wageningen University. Before joining the Felixx team, Man worked at BoschSlabbers. Her interest in urban public space aims at microclimates and addressing heat stress in urban environments through climate responsive design. The core ambition is to reconnect nature.

MARINA VIŠIĆ Urban Planner, Researcher Marina Višić is researcher and urban planner with a Master from the University of Belgrade and a Post-Master in European Urbanism from the TU in Delft. Before joining Felixx, she worked at Mir Architects in Amsterdam and - in capacity of urban developer - for the international UNICITI think tank and as research assistant for the department of Urbanism at the TU Delft. At Felixx Marina is part of our research team, working on water strategies and sustainable riverfront development for various urban densification and renaturation projects.

Marloes Willemsen Landscape designer Marloes is a landscape designer and graduated from the Delft University of Technology with a master's degree in Urbanism, where she joined the graduation studio of Urban Ecology. Her previous work experience at ECHO Urban Design confirmed her passion for Landscape Architecture in the urban context. She envisions the city to become more open to non-human life to allow for more nature experiences in the daily lives of citizens.

Nancy Smolka Urban Designer Nancy is an urban designer at Felixx. She studied at the University of Kassel in Germany and graduated with a degree in Urban and Regional planning. Currently, she is enrolled in the Master of Urbanism at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture. Before she joined Felixx, she gained work experience at MUST Stedebouw.

Natalia Andreeva Associate partner, Project Leader, Architect Natalia Andreeva is an architect. She has several years of professional experience in the position of architect besides other relevant work experience in the field. She graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute with a specialist degree in architecture. After an exchange program in Stuttgart, she received a master’s degree in architecture at the KU Leuven in Belgium. Before she joined Felixx, she worked in Moscow and at IWT in Rotterdam.

Nicole Verbrugge - Zijlstra Finance & business support Nicole manages the office's project administration. She gained her extensive experience in administration and finance at a variety of companies and also applies her skills as a volunteer for social (neighborhood) initiatives. Monitoring with a keen eye on costs and benefits, Nicole safeguards the financial sustainability of Felixx.

Oviya Elango Landscape Designer Oviya is an Urban designer. She received her Master in Urbanism at TU Delft and finished her Bachelor’s in India. Before she started at Felixx she gained experience at architectureRED in Chennai, India and did her internship at PosadMaxwan in The Hague.

Pepijn van de Peer Landscape designer Pepijn is a landscape designer from Belgium. He studied Garden and Landscape Architecture at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Ghent. He aspires to build a more sustainable world where both humans and animals can coexist in harmony.

Ramona Stiehl Project Leader, Landscape Architect Ramona is a project leader. She studied Landscape and Open Space Planning at Leibniz University of Hannover. She also has participated in the Leonardo da Vinci postgraduate scholarship of the European Union. Before Ramona joined Felixx, she gained her experience in Germany and Spain, after which she joined West 8 in Rotterdam. There she worked on the realization of various internationally award winning projects for 10 years.

Robert-Jan van der Linden Landscape Designer, Project Leader Robert-Jan is a landscape designer. He studied garden and landscape design at Van Hall Larenstein, University of Applied Sciences and did his minor landscape architecture at the Birmingham City University, where he gained strong technical knowledge. Currently, he is studying landscape architecture at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture.

Sophie Simon Landscape designer Sophie is a landscape designer at Felixx. She has a bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Cologne and a Master’s degree in urban planning from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Before joining Felixx, she gained experience as a sustainable mobility consultant and as a public space designer for the municipality of Amsterdam. She aspires to create more liveable spaces and making cities and landscapes climate resilient.

Thyra Bakker Landscape Designer Thyra studies Landscape Architecture at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam and obtained her bacherlor Spatial Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. She joined Felixx first as an intern to gain design experience. After another internship at MAAK.space in Amersfoort, Thyra made her comeback at Felixx.

Tijme Scholten Urban Designer Tijme studied at the Breda University of Applied Sciences for his BA in Urban Design. He graduated at BuroHarro, researching the spatial relation between city and surrounding landscape. As an urban designer he gained most of his working experience at KuiperCompagnons and STUDIO 1:1 in Rotterdam.

Zamira Abazi Architect, urban designer Zamira is an architect and urban designer at Felixx. She has a master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Polis University in Albania. Before she joined Felixx, she gained work experience at the Ministry of Urban Development in Albania, Ministry of Spatial Planning of Kosovo and in different architecture studios in both Albania and North Macedonia.

Zofia Krzykawska Senior Landscape Architect Zofia is focusing on large scale planning as a senior landscape architect. She graduated from the University of Arts in Poznan, Poland, where she obtained her master’s degree in both landscape architecture and interior design. Before Zofia joined Felixx, she started her career as a designer at Karres+Brands in Hilversum and Omgeving in Antwerp.
